And so we’re back, from outer space, we just came to Friendship Center to rock the whole dang place! We knew we’d be back to sing songs in other keys, how could we deny you the pleasure of seeing my friends and me! So go on now go, go to this show, don’t make other plans cause they’re not welcome anymore. Weren’t you the show with the Panda Cookie? Didn’t think it crumbled because it was so dang tasty!

Oh now come, don’t be afraid, we’ll play a fun show and then just hope that we get paid.

We’ve got all night to party, no way you’ll be dismayed, the dance moves, horns, and show will be on full display!

Nothing but Clive makes you fee alive, let’s get after it! This is a special show for us because Clive has been pretty much the hometown for a number of years, we couldn’t be more excited to be invited to throw down for the hometown heroes. That being said, we are going to hip thrust and and play feral wild funk for a good three hours to get you guys warmed up for the night! We are just the start of the evening so make sure to save some of your body and strength for the headlining act!

Let’s get it on at Riverview on July 21st! We have been wanting to perform out here for a while so we are totally honored to be invited this year to this amazing event. It is all ages so bring your families, co-workers, mistresses and manstresses, it’s for everybody! Show starts at 5:30 so this is the perfect way to kick off another gorgeous weekend in Iowa Summer. Got to enjoy it while it lasts!

Fleetwood makes me feel so good! Our last show there we had the crowd finish an entire bottle of 1800 Tequila over the course of about 3 and a half minutes. If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know to want to go to this show then you’re not invited anyways.

July 3rd, Monday night we are summoning our inner patriotic demons to march forth and play music for the glory of the freedomland! Nothing says “Merica” More than fireworks, alcoholic beverages, and dancing in the street to some of the finest and funkiest musicians in town. Show starts and 9PM and stay after for the fireworks display!

Look out Waterloo, we are coming in hot and sweaty and ready to play! We know for a stone cold, certified, science-based fact that the town of Waterloo has never had the funky licks played in their streets before and we are excited to be their first! We promise to be gentle, attentive, and not quit until you’ve had your fill! Show starts at 5:30PM, let’s goooo!

Oh my love grows where your Rosemary goes! Spring is in the air, but also love, and the last thing in the air is music from the sweet, sweet, Panda Boys. That’s right, we are at it again with bringing two beautiful souls together in holy matrimony through the power of music, the call of the dance, and the inebriation of alcohols! Receptions are always the absolute best, and people who hire live music for their reception are 73% more rad than the average person, it’s just science folks. Let’s get rowdy!

It’s that time of year again! As night falls early over the sleepy city of Des Moines we want all you freaks and zombies to crawl forth from your lairs and mausoleums and make your way to The Blank Park Zoo! Zoo Brew of course is a uniquely Iowa activity where you can drink, dance, and catch all the sights and sounds of the zoo after dark! Every dollar spend goes towards conservation, education and animals protection! Very rarely can you have a screamingly good time and support so many wonderful causes simultaneously. Let’s see you creepy crawlies at 6PM for when we take over the stage and submit our funk to the demons of the night!

Need a way to travel far away from the hustle and bustle of children screaming in your ear? Pop on down to Summerset Winery on August 28th and that trip to Napa Valley is just a sip away! They have a truly world-class outdoor setup for live entertainment, some of the best damn wine in the Midwest, and the rowdiest band of ne’er-do-wells to ever grace the bi-regional music scene. Summerset is the place to be for Sunday Funday, don’s miss out!

It’s a full night of funk down at Ingersoll Live on the East End Stage! Faculty Lounge is tearing it up at 7PM and we will follow up at 9:30 and close out the night! There is food, drink, activities and some fantastic music all day long! This is the mother of all block parties, so let’s get hog wild and party!

At last, the final Fleetwood show of summer 2022. This is where we throw a New Orleans style wake for the waning days of Summer. We will toast to its warm rays, welcoming vibes, and outdoor dalliances with the pale moonlight. The soft sensation of a stranger’s funky guitar lick wetting your ear, the thick organ sound sliding into your soul, the snare drum pounding to a stimulating and steady beat, it’s the end of another wet hot American summer so let’s see it out in style. Fleetwood, did we save the best for last? Let’s find out!

Hot August nights. Rollercoasters and slightly-rigged skill games. The pungent aroma of funnel cakes, livestock and sideshow carnies competing for your nose's attention. What else makes a perfect State Fair? MICROBREWS AND LIVE MUSIC, DUH! We are pleased as punch to report that we have secured a show for one night only at the Craft Beer Tent at the Iowa State Fair! Everyone knows that a mildly alcoholic tincture of hops, barley and malt is essential to help settle your stomach after consuming massive amounts of grease and sugar, so grab yourself another chocolate covered deep-fried corndog on a stick and be sure to stop by and visit us on your way back from ogling the Butter Cow for the best in downhome, foot-tapping tunes featuring the Panda’s usual mix of high energy rock, blues, pop, funk and our amusing musical antics!

Ahh, mi amore, love is in the air! Can you smell it? We are always completely honored to bring the wet hot funk to the reception of any couples beautiful perfect day. The slapping heavy bass, the pounding rhythmic drums, the thundering of the brass as it rings out in the night sky, is there anything more sensual and celebratory than The Punching Pandas band? We go together with wedding receptions like peanut butter and chocolate!

We are honored to be a part of Hilltop Festival this year and to be a part of all the goodness they bring into the world! This Festival raises funds for Friendship Haven which gives many people a warm place to live and thrive while also providing medical assistance as well as community programs. This is a direct way to help local friends and family while having a pretty dang good time! I was told upon hiring they want to kick up the event with some wild and rowdy entertainment, so we’re here to do just that! We can’t wait to show our support and we hope you show yours too!
